Superstar Brings Fitness Zone To A New Level

Fitness Zone, 汶萊最具人氣的健身房之一，正在計畫成立慈善基金會來幫助本地的慈善組織及弱勢學生。想法由吳尊發起，是汶萊出身的國際巨星，也是台灣知名男子偶像團體《飛輪海》的一員，曾領銜主演《錦衣衛》。他昨天在Fitness Zone Serusop (即FZ3)的飛輪有氧課程開幕接受訪問時表示。

「今年我想專注在慈善活動。我希望成立一個FZ慈善基金會來募款給需要幫助的汶萊慈善組織以及弱勢的學生。」吳尊說。

除了飛輪有氧(RPM cycling)的課程，Fitness Zone 也策辦了一個公益活動讓66位健身房成員參與，每位成員貢獻10元來為Pusat Ehsan募款。

吳尊推廣飛輪有氧時說，「能夠讓我們的會員參與公益是很好的事情！」

他也說，「2月13日會有一個Serusop分店的開幕儀式，同時我們也會辦步行募款，從國家體育館走到Serusop分店。還有一些公開的活動給小孩們，以及Fitness Zone的資訊提供，歡迎每個人來參與！」

談到Serusop分店他個人參與在設計的部分，吳尊說，「我總是想著健身房的事情即使我在外國工作。這個分店我用了不同於Kiulap分店(FZ2)的想法，我們特別進口適合年長會員的設備，以及一些無障礙的設施特別為行動不便或受過傷的會員們得以使用。總面積約9000平方米和不同的高度。」

總是熱愛健身及健身事業，曾經主演電影《武俠梁祝》的吳尊說，「最近來說，我們Fitness Zone 累積了約4000名會員而且持續成長，我在考慮擴建Kiulap分店或是在別的地方另外再開一家分店。」

兩個月前在上海開幕的吳尊館，跟據吳尊的說法，汶萊的FZ會員在上海時也可以使用上海吳尊館的設施。目前吳尊館約有9000名註冊的會員。

為了確保Fitness Zone常駐最好的服務，吳尊說，「我都會送員工到海外去受訓，他們會持續帶新的課程回來給會員們，不會讓會員感到無趣。」

「有興趣的民眾們也可以到Fitness Zone來體驗，有三天免費體驗的活動，只要來報名然後盡情的來使用Fitness Zone的設備。」他補充。

Bandar Seri Begawan - Fitness Zone, one of the most popular chain of gyms in Brunei Darussalam, is looking to set up its own charity fund to help local charitable organisations as well as underprivileged students.

The inspiring idea was revealed by Wu Chun, the locally born international star, a member of the famous Taiwanese boy band, Fahrenheit and one of the main cast in the movie "14 blades", during an interview at the RPM cycling launch at the new Fitness Zone gym in Serusop yesterday.

"This year I really want to focus on charity drives. I hope to establish a Fitness Zone charity fund to raise money in providing assistance to local charitable organisations as well as underprivileged students," said Wu Chun.

During the RPM cycling launch, Fitness Zone also organised a charity drive with 66 gym members taking part in the cycling event and each paying $10 to raise money for Pusat Ehsan.

Wu Chun who led the drive in the RPM cycling said, "It is good to get people involved in the charity drive especially our members."

He also said, "On February 13, there will be a grand opening of Serusop Branch and we will be organising a charity walkathon from the national stadium to the Serusop Fitness Zone branch. There will also be an open house for the public and also activities for the children. Everyone is welcome to join."

Speaking on the Serusop Fitness Zone that he personally helped to design, Wu Chun said, "1 always thought about the gym even when I am working abroad. I designed this place and it has a different concept compared to Kiulap. We have specially imported equipment catering to the senior citizens and equipment that are specially made for people who have suffered injuries in the past. The area, covering about 9,000 square feet also has various classes."

Always passionate about fitness gyms, the superstar who played the leading role in "Butterfly Lover" also said, "Currently, we have around 4,000 members in Fitness Zone and the number is still growing. I am looking forward to expanding the Kiulap branch or even looking to open a new branch in another location."

Two months ago, Wu Chun also opened a Fitness Zone branch in Shanghai and according to him, Brunei's fitness zone members can also use the facilities in Shanghai. Currently, around 9,000 members have signed up at the gym in Shanghai.

To make sure that Fitness Zone stays in top shape, Wu Chun said, "I always send my instructors overseas for training. Therefore, the members will always get new fitness lessons and won't get bored during the classes.

"Members of the public who are interested to see and try out Fitness Zone gym can have a free three-day trial without charges. Interested patrons just need to put on their exercise gear and take up the three-day trial and check out the facilities available in 'Fitness Zone," he added. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
